Giving full backing to the new recruitment policy of the news government, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today said the new policy will end nepotism in the government department.
“The policy is aimed at selecting right persons for right jobs. It will ensure transparency in the recruitment drive to be carried out by the state government”, he said adding that the criticism over the new policy will not bar poor to get government jobs.
“Those who are creating misconception are not aware about the intention of the BJP-IPFT government. They must stop criticism on the issue”, he said.The Chief Minister was speaking at a mega blood donation camp at Krishanpur HS School in Dharmanagar subdivision’s North Tripura District Yubarajnagar area yesterday . Terming healthcare is one of the basic needs of the common people, the Chief Minister said the government has taken steps to improve healthcare facility in the state. Hammering the erstwhile Left regime, Deb said the state requires 575 MBBS doctors at the right moment in spite of having two medical colleges.
“It was the failure of the previous government not keep MBBS pass out students in the state. There was no realistic approach for the doctors that prompted the fresh doctors to go out of the state”, he alleged.
“The state cabinet approved a proposal to engage neurosurgeon and neuro-anesthelogist for the newly opened trauma centre at GBP hospital”, he said adding that a toll-free (144) number has been introduced so that people could get proper medical benefits.In his long speech,
