The flood situation is worsening at various parts of Tripura led people in many parts to take shelter in relief camps.
Rescue operation team is in action to control this emergency situation. Social Welfare minister Smt Santana Chakma visiting the Flood situations area at Chowmanu on 12th June 2018.
 On the other hand due to overflowing water river banks of Howarh river are facing dangers and the number of flood affected people are also increasing at the same time.
Transport over National Highway across Chandrapur was also heavily disrupted in the flood. Local people suffering after a day-long rainfall at Sabroom.
Monsoon started in full swing in Northeast state Tripura, various parts are suffering from flooding affecting thousands of families. Among all the 8 Districts existing in the state, North Tripura is facing highest dangers right now. Over 4000 families have taken shelter in various relief camps, One killed in landslides triggered by incessant rains in South Tripura with flash floods inundating several areas in the district.
Last night one child was killed in landslides near Gardhang bazar under Gardhang GP of Bokafa RD block.The police said an 3-year-old child Sudaung Mog,S/o: Suman Mog, was killed at Gardhang village.
  SDM Sabroom reported 10(Ten) nos shelter house are opened total 187 families and total 783 person getting shelter.

CM visits indoor stadium, rebukes previous Govt


Chief Minister Biplab Deb has visited Netaji Subash indoor stadium at Agartala,. which was inaugurated by the Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on January 9, 2018.
But after visiting the stadium  the present Chief Minister Biplab Deb and sports minister Manoj Kanti Deb had slammed the Ex-CPI-M Govt alleging that no proper water arrangement and other necessary things were done for the stadium and it’s just like an ordinary stadium even though central govt had funded hugely for that.
The stadium was inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in the presence of gymnast Dipa Karmakar and her coach Bisweswar Nandi on January 9.
The indoor stadium is at Netaji Chowmuhani, Agartala. Earlier also the stadium was there but it has now developed into a larger form.
CM also advised to repair the air condition system of the Hall as soon as possible. Said sports Minister. Also some major discussions have been made about to built a national level Gymnasium Hall. In Between this Chief Minister also talked with the students and their parents.

TRIPURA DEPUTY CM PRESS MEET


Altogether 10.43 lakh person days have been created under MGNREGA May 31, 2018, which is more than of the corresponding year (2017), said Dy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma Yesterday.
This is the transparent government elected by the people and we don’t have any intention to hide anything, he told the media after revealing the mandays generation under the national flagship programme-MGNREGA.
The Dy CM said the Centre has released Rs. 132 crore to carry forward MGNREGA in rural areas which appears a major job generation programme by the government. “And, more fund will come if we can utilise the outlay released by the MoRD”, he said.
Dev Varma also criticised the erstwhile government on the ‘use’ of MGNREGA. “There was a High Court order to carry out special audit in all blocks to check if there was/ were discrepancies or not. In course of the audit process, some Panchayat Secretaries were suspended for wrong doings. The special audit is supposed to be completed by this month”, he said.

Newly built park to be named ‘Param Vir Chakra’ Ln Albert Ekka


He had made the supreme sacrifice in the prime of his youth , leaving behind a young wife and off-spring in the Tripura-Bangla front of the 1971 war with Pakistan during the liberation struggle of Bangladesh. But so far nobody did anything to commemorate his name in this state though Ln Albert Ekka, the posthumous winner of India’s highest gallantry award ‘Param Vir Chakra’ was buried in southern Agartala . But this historical irony is all set to be removed as a newly built sprawling park in north Agartala’s Lichu Bagan area , west of the ‘Welcome Gate’ and army’s Martyr’s column, is going to bear the name of the 1971 war hero Lance Naike Albert Ekka . This park which still await completion of work on decoration will be inaugurated by the chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in presence of AMC chair-person Dr Prafullajit Sinha and local BJP MLA, Dr Dilip Das on June 5 morning World environment day. MLA Dilip Das said that the naming has been finalized already.

Tripura sports icon felicitated


The Tripura government on Saturday felicitated the sports icon of this state who won medals in different sport events abroad. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma in presence of the state sports minister has felicitated them. 
Tennis player Somedev Devvarman, international gymnast Dipa Karmakar and her coach Bishweshwar Nandi and young international woman football player Laxmita Reang were felicitated today in a programme organized by the Youth Affairs and Sports department of the state government.
During the programme Chief Minister Biplav Kumar Deb said that the government in coordination with the centre shall take initiative of hunting sports talent and get them play at national and international level sport events. 
CM felicitated Dipa Karmakar with a trophy, citation and traditional shoulder cloth, while Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma felicitated Somedev Devvarman, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Manoj Kanti Deb felicitated gymnastic coach Bishweshwar Nandi and Sports department secretary M L Dey felicitated Laxmita Reang.

QUEEN PINEAPPLES EXPORTED TO DUBAI


With the initiatives of the BJP led State Govt, unique Queen Pineapples of Northeast state Tripura have started First ever journey for Dubai on Sunday.
Since the beginning, Tripura's new Govt was focused to export Tripura’s queen pineapple to outside especially meant to be served in 5 star hotels of foreign as well as India at high prices. 
A deal was done with a Dubai based company.
Today from Nagichara west tripura area, which is famous for pineapple cultivation ‘Queen Pineapples’ have been exported.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy flagged off the First ever journey from there. Atotal number of 1000 queen varity of pineapples in the 2nd consignment. Chief Minister expressed the beginning as great one for the true development of the producers.

TRIPURA CM AT DHARMANAGAR NORTH DISTRICT


Atleast 22 lakhs were embezzled under Madhuban Panchayat of Dharmanagar subdivision in bridge and road constructions.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb in his first ever visit  Yesterday afternoon at few villages of Dharmanagar has unearthed the massive corruption under Madhuban,Panchayat, where works have been shown as ‘complete’ for road and bridge constructions, whereas “No road”, “No bridge” were cited after physical visit. 
For the bridge construction Rs. 10 lakhs were sanctioned, whereas for road construction Rs. 12 lakhs were sanctioned before 2 years. 
Against both the projects the works were shown as complete in papers, but no work was done actually.
CM has ordered proper inquiry into the whole issue. Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan was present with the Chief Minister.
CM also questioned the local BDO Paritosh Biswas regarding the projects and asked Chief Secretary for proper review of the whole project.

CM at Tripura Sundari temple trust


Out of the total estimated budget around Rs. 50 crores, Rs. 34 crores were already sanctioned by the Central Govt, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb told media after a meeting at Udaipur regarding Matabari development.Addressing the media after the meeting held at Udaipur regarding Matabari development, the Chief Minister said, govt is now focusing basically on the electricity, CCTV cameras and safety, drinking water facilities and tourists comforts.Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb yesterday chaired the first Meeting of the Shree Shree Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Trust at Matabari RD Block Conference Hall in Udaipur.
Chief Minister, during the meeting directed that a comprehensive documentation exercise of all the assets of the Temple Trust must be holistically undertaken. He asserted that due legal processes and requirements must be fully complied while the temple is being transferred to the Temple Trust Authorities.
Chief Minister stated that while undertaking developmental works in the temple premises, topmost priority must be accorded to ensuring Swachhta (cleanliness and sanitation) in the complex.Deb also directed the officials to ensure that the best practices from various temples and pilgrimage centres from across the country must be emulated and a comprehensive master plan be prepared in order to develop the Matabari Temple complex.Deb stated that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has championed the cause of pilgrimage tourism in the country through its Prasad and Swadesh Darshan schemes. He asked the authorities to ensure that the development of the temple must be done effectively using these programs and schemes of the Central Government.Deb further stated that the temple development must be undertaken with a vision of developing Mata Tripura Sundari Temple as a world class pilgrimage center in North East India.

390 kg Ganja seized, 1 arrested


In a drive against anti-social elements, Airport Police have arrested one drug smuggler from the capital city Agartala on Saturday Afternoon.
SP West Ajit Pratap Singh addressing the media said, “Police is continuously cracking down such illegal business and as a part of police’s drive against the anti-social elements, this raid was held”.
“At Madhyapara of Gandhigram, police via secret sources was informed about an illegal storage of ganja inside a garage. Police rushed to the spot  and found 390 kg of ganja in a truck which was kept inside the garage. One Sanjb Roy was caught red-handed from that spot", the SP said. 
“Sanjib Roy himself is the owner of the garage. Police have taken a specific case and we are confident that such illegal works are being done via organized gangs. Police will find out all culprits via the interrogations”.
“They conceal the ganja with extra fittings inside the truck. Police have briefed the intelligence system to find out similar kind of business, where very cunningly drugs are kept”, he said.

Heavy pre-monsoon rain in Tripura this time is taking a heavy toll of lives in different parts of Tripura besides causing immense hardship to the people, Four of a tribal family at Thambukbari village of Mohanpur Sub-division under the West Tripura district as their mud-house collapsed due to heavy shower. The incident took place while they were sleeping and the house suddenly collapsed on Thursday night. Identified as Shaniram Debbarma (50), Amitra Bala Debbarma (45) and Abhijeet Debbarma (9) in Bairagi tilla area under Subal Singh in Hezamara block at west tripura district . this morning while the lone surviving member is struggling for life in GBP hospital. That due to heavy downpour from early hours of today the mud-walled house of the tribal family had collapsed on them with tin, beam etc and the three died on the spot . The neighbours rescued them from the under the debris and rushed the injured one to GBP hospital. In yet another incident at Belfang under the Hezamara block one more tribal inmate died on the spot as the mud-walled house collapsed on him. 
The chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb has announced a compensation package of Rs 4 lakh each for the affected families and other measures to help them from the disaster relief fund of the state government .. During past twenty four hours altogether 242 milimetres of rain have been recorded by the office of the Indian Meteriological Department (IMD).

Chief Minister visits tripura flood affected areas

Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Friday morning visited the flood affected areas at the capital town of Agartala, caused due to incessant shower throughout the night.
Taking a note of the situation today door to door, CM assured the affected families who are currently home-ridden due to blockade of flood water at their house, of restoring the situation. Mr. Deb sought time from the families to restore the situation and also assured that from next monsoon everything will fall in track.
The incessant rain throughout the Thursday night which continued till Friday noon has shut down business operations at the capital town Tripura as most of the shops were covered with flood water, especially at Shakuntala area. 
However, similar loss of property and flash floods were reported from other parts of the state and especially the low lying areas of the state submerged under the flood water. 
CM hit the previous CPI-M govt for constructing unscientific drainage system across the city Agartala in last 25 years. Chief Minister has given up saying, “It’s not possible for me to compete all works within 15 days or 1 month and when already monsoon has been started, work can not be continued much in drainage system's recovery”. CM also announced Rs. 7 crores fund's immediate sanctioning for the minimum relief for the citizens from such problems.

At least 11 political party offices bulldozed


West Dist administration has been continuing the demolition drive on the day 2. On Tuesday morning the demolition drive covered the Agartala GB area and at least 3 party offices within 7.30 am were bulldozed. At least eight political party offices including CPI (M) and Congress were demolished at Old Motor Stand area Yesterday. stone pelting distance from East Agartala police station by a joint team of civil administration and police authority this morning.
This was carried out amidst strong ‘objections’ from three political parties- CPI(M), Congress and INPT over demolition drive on party offices being set up at government land.
District Magistrate (DM), West Dr. Milind Ramteke and Superintendent of Police (SP), West Ajit Pratap Singh led the two and half hours long demolition drive.
There was no resistance as leaders of political parties were in deep sleep when the operation began in the wee hours. “Two bulldozers and one chain vehicle along with several number of labourers were used in the demolition drive. This was done in accordance with the government decision”, said an official of the district administration.
Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today visited Motor Stand, where on yesterday union party offices built over govt lands were bulldozed in the early morning. 
The opposition Congress and CPI (M) have reacted strongly to the demolition drive launched by the state government against party and front organization offices allegedly on encroached government land. The PCC president Birajit Sinha who protested the government decision.

One dead, many families affected as cyclonic storm hits the Tripura


An elderly villager died while around 10,000 people were affected when a cyclonic storm hit several parts of the state yesterday and today morning . One villager – Hiramoni Santal (40) died at Chounitala village under South Belcherra ADC village of Khowai subdivision while 150 families of the village severely damaged by the gusty storm. 
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb left for Khowai to visit cyclonic storm hit villages, Several houses were damaged at Khowai, and Mohanpur , Uadaipur due to the storm and the local administration has geared up to render all possible helps to the affected families in the district.
The norwester also severely hit several areas of Gomati district, according to the latest report by State Disaster Management Authority. While 39 houses were completely damaged and a total of 160 dwelling huts were partially damaged under Matabari block. 
In Mohanpur subdivision, damage has appeared as extensive with 30 dwelling huts flattened to the ground. “A total of 822 people took shelter in relief camps and the administration was asked to provide relief materialists to the storm hit people at the earliest. As usual, gusty storm has caused extensive damage to transmission line in several areas of West, Gomati and Sepahijala district.

New Judge takes oath at Tripura High Court


Senior advocate Arindam Lodh has taken oath as Tripura High Court Judge today.
High Court Chief Justice Ajay Rastogi administered the oath at the High Court in the presence of all judicial officers.
The Supreme Court Chief Justice Dipak Misra had cleared the names of  Arindam Lodh  as judge on last Thursday.
Arindam Lodh, son of senior advocate Lt. Apanghsu Lodh served the central government counsel  railways, panel counselor under government of India, standing counsel NFR in Tripura.
Tripura High Court earlier was suffering due to the less numbers of judges with  Six thousands of pending cases.

In Tripura, 3 BSF Jawans Shot Dead By Colleague Who Then Killed Himself


The formation Tripura frontier of BSF has expressed deep shock , at the fratricide at BOP Magroli incident last night and have offered their condolences to the Next of Kins.
Notably, in an unfortunate incident of fratricide, in the wee hours of 06 May, constable Shishupal of BSF, fired upon head constable Vijay Kumar, Kote NCO apparently in a tiff. He reportedly also fired at sentry, but missed him.
Subsequently he also fired upon at constable and driver Rakesh Kumar Yadav and constable Rinku Kumar and later shot himself dead. Constable Rakesh Kumar Yadav and constable Rinku Kumar taken to Civil Hospital Kailashahar, where Constable Rinku Kumar succumbed to his injuries. Constable Rakesh Kumar was evacuated in civil ambulance to ILS hospital , Agartala, where , he also breath .IG BSF of Tripura frontier and other Senior BSF Officers have rushed to the spot for detailed enquiry.
In an alarmingly bizarre incident at Magrauli outpost of BSF (55th battalion) under Irani police station in Kailasahar subdivision last night, an irate BSF jawan shot dead three of his colleagues , firing from service automatic , and himself committed suicide by shooting himself from the same weapon. The incident has triggered high tension in the bordering areas of entire Kailasahar subdivision and SP (Unakoti) Lucky Chauhan rushed to the spot with reinforcement to cope with the situation. A red alert has been sounded all along the bordering areas of Tripura with Bangladesh. 
A group of four jawans returned to Magrauli bordering outpost from duty and engaged in a bitter dispute over an unknown matter-supposedly over sharing of booty collected from smugglers- and constable Shishu Paul (j&k) shot dead two of his colleagues , Vijay Kumar and Rakesh Kumar Yadav and shot himself dead.
Shortly after the news spread SP (Unakoti) Lucky Chauhan and SDPO Rajiv Sengupta rushed to the spot with reinforcement and launched investigation into the triple murder and suicide. Sources in the BSF headquarter in Shalbagan, Agartala failed to give details of what actually had happened.

Tripura Health minister visits IGM hospital


We have decided at the government level to make available free medicine to indoor patients undergoing treatment in hospital ; if the patient party has to purchase medicine the cost will be reimbursed upon production of pucca cash receipts from medicine shops’ said Tripura Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman.
The health minister Sudip Roy Barman visit to the IGM hospital ,second biggest referral hospital in the state and inquired about the state of service, condition of patients and availability of different level of services in the hospital. The health minister inquired about the stock of medicine in the generic medicine counter in the hospital and told the accompanying officials and doctors to ensure full stockade of medicine in the generic counter. Accompanied by doctors and officials he also visited different wards of the hospital to inquire about the nature of treatment being provided to the patients . He also expressed annoyance over reported misbehavior of private security staff with the patient party and instructed the hospital authority to ensure that such things did not recur. ‘Many patients come to the hospital from far flung places and they are often ignorant of the finer nuances of the system ; that does not mean they will have to be ill-treated or subjected to assaults’ said Roy Barman. He expressed his determination to upgrade the health services in the state to the highest level. Roy Barman’s visit was welcomed by the medical and non-medical staff of the hospital who said that the minister seemed well aware of the problems and promised to resolve all of them. ‘He also spoke to us maintaining the highest level of decency and decorum ; that is what we liked most’ said a senior doctor of the hospital.

Tripura's job aspirants rushed to attend 'Job Fair' in Agartala and other places On Today morning,, where direct recruitment are going on by some South Indian Textile mills under "Southern India Mills Association" (SIMA). Textile mills in South India, however are undergoing a high rate of attrition and had planned to conduct a job fair at Agartala. Southern India Mills’ Association chairman P. Nataraj said there was a meeting recently where they studied the problems are being faced by mills in recruiting employees.The association had proposed many states including Tripura and the Tripura Government responded immediately. Seven textile are here to recruit about 4,000 workers.
“This is on a trial basis and the candidates can join work immediately. There are several schemes of the Central government under which the mills will train the workers for three months and then induct them as operators. 
However, the fair to be continued till tomorrow and the interviewers will basically check the "consistency" of the candidates, who would never leave the job after 6-7 months of training. 
The interview is going on at "Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Smriti Vidya Mandir" school in Agartala and in other places also. Minimum qualification of the applicant is matriculation.

TRIPURA ROAD SAFETY WEEK


Tripura Chief Minister  Biplab Deb has continued his tall claims, advising his Traffic Dept officers that they can complete zebra crossing works within 7 days if they want. On the Road Safety Week at Swami Vivekananda Stadium today the Chief Minister has instructed the traffic dept to complete zebra crossings in front of all school roads across the state and told traffic dept, "If dept wants then within 7 days it can complete zebra crossing works". Not only this, the Chief Minister also has said to set traffic lights in all roads of Tripura within June 18. “Zebra crossing is another important aspect which can curb accidents. But the Chief Minister also has to stop when public are walking on the zebra crossing”, CM added. Tripura’s each department are working on 100 days action plan and the traffic dept is working hard to curb numbers of accidents. The whole India as well Tripura are reeling under tragic incidents of road-mishaps. The Govt of India has also instructed the states to focus on to decrease the numbers of accidents. Thus, as fast as we will work on traffic lights' settings, it will help to curb the accidents and tragic deaths”, CM said. 
“In front of each school , zebra crossing should be painted within next 7 days and if the dept wants it can do it”, CM instructed.

CM Biplab Deb proclaims his vision and mission for the state in stirring assembly speech


The Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb was positivity personified yesterday as he proclaimed his vision and mission for the state within next three years. In a stirring speech delivered to wind up the discussion on the motion of thanks for the governor’s speech, Deb declared his mission of seeing Tripura as a ‘model state’ in the country. In a fifty minute speech the chief minister brushed aside what had happened in the past and declared a road-map for Tripura’s all-round development, putting behind the long tales of deprivation and backwardness . After the two day long discussion by various speakers from the treasury and opposition benches on the governor’s speech, The chief minister’s declaration of mission mode work included extension of free-of-cost LPG connection to 3.58 lakh poor families within next one hundred days. A new techno-based digital filing system and new transfer policy will be introduced. He said , A new medical college will be set up at Khwmlwang, headquarter of ADC. Within a few days MGNREGA work for ten days will be started and tourist circuit will be introduced for boosting tourism industry in the state and Tripura will be a model state within next three years. 
 Sri Deb said ,The state government has initiated a process to increase depth in three major rivers including Howrah, the Assembly was informed here today.
A proposal to undertake desiltation process to increase depth of three rivers had already been sent to the Centre for its approval and if it gets okayed the government will speed up the program, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said.

CM promises early solution to covered drainage problem in Agartala


The chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb yesterday promised to have the problems created by covered drains in Agartala and other parts of the state resolved within the shortest possible time. Deb was speaking on a call-attention motion on the problem ahead of the onset of monsoon which led to large scale water-logging in Agartala and other towns of the state at least five times last year. ‘The problem has accumulated over the past many years ; we have already studied the nature and extent of the problem and work has begun in right earnest; hopefully it will be completed soon’ said the chef minister . He added that removing the accumulated mud and slush takes time from drains but we have issued instructions to the civic authority to expedite the work . ‘Even though it may take some time I assure the house that it will be done soon’ said Biplab Deb in the state assembly

Tripura Education Minister stress the need for quality education


Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said imparting quality education to the students is the priority of the new government and sought full co-operation of the teachers community to achieve this goal.
‘Teachers have a place of honour in the society and only they can build an able generation who will take the nation forward’, he said and committed that the new government will ensure that the due honour of the teachers are maintained. 
Addressing a convention organized by Tripura TET Teachers Welfare Association  today he urged the teachers to ensure that the students are not deprived of quality education which was ignored during the previous regime. 
The teachers were aggrieved that despite proved their ability by qualifying in the tough Teachers’ Eligibility Test they were appointed in fixed pay by the previous government which, they feel, is not only a case of deprivation, it is also derogatory to their dignity in the society. 
The minister assured the teachers that the new government will review the matter and take step so that their deprivation is removed and their honor in the society is restored.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has introduced a direct public relation system named as ‘Janata’s Durbar’.
As per the decision, the chief minister will now talk directly to the common people of the state on every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to solve their problems. CM will talk to the people on every Wednesday and Saturday from morning 8 AM to 9 AM at his present residence and on Friday the interaction with common people would be held at the conference hall of Civil Secretariat . During the interaction with common people, the chief secretary and secretaries of different departments of the state government will remain present to instantly remedy the public problems.
On Friday, chief minister conducted the first ‘Janata’s Durbar’ at the conference hall of civil secretariat in presence of top officials of the state administration. Later, speaking with media persons Deb said that ‘Janata’s Durbar is not new, neither his doing it is anything extra ordinary. ‘It was there also under Narendra Modi’s chief ministry at Gujarat and already other states have implemented it.
‘But, for Tripura, it has been implemented for the first time and government is accountable to the people of the state’, said Deb, adding that from now government will note down the problems of the people and will solve their problems and will also inform the complainants.
He added that ‘Janata’s Durbar’ is direct communication method of public contact with chief minister, where they can place their problems before the chief minister.

Swearing-in of New Elected Members in Agartala


The newly elected BJP, IPFT and CPI-M MLAs have taken oath today at the Tripura Assembly. Pro-tem speaker Ratan Chakraborty administered the oath to the newly elected Assembly members. Chief Minister Biplab Deb remained present on that occasion and talked to each of the opposition leaders. 
 IPFT MLA Brisoketo Debbarma took oath first. Opposition Leader Manik Sarkar have taken oath today . A total of 59 out of 16 cpim members and 41 BJP-IPFT Members took oath today.. The inaugural session of 12th Tripura Assembly is likely to begin on March 23.

Referring to unemployment issue , he said state government is reluctant to pursue proper policies for creating job opportunities in the state and youth are facing bleak future. Hammering hard at ruling CPM, Deb held left ists responsible for overall collapse of socio economic sectors.

Two Union Ministers, Assam Finance Minister to visit state


Two Union Ministers- Faggan Singh Kulaste and Babul Supriyo would be visiting the state to join programmes to be organized to mark third year celebration of Narendra Modi led government.
While Minister of State, PMO Babul Supriyo would be arriving here on June 20, Kulaste, the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare is all set to arrive here on June 20 next.
“Supriyo will join programmes in two districts- Sepahijala and South district of the state to mark Modi government’s third year anniversary and Kulaste is scheduled to attend International Yoga Day programme at UK ground on June 21”, said BJP state unit president Biplab Kumar Deb.
Assam Finance Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma is also scheduled to visit the state on June 22. “Apart from visiting some areas of the state, Sarma will also hold organizational meeting with party’s core committee as well chiefs of frontal organizations”, 
Besides revealing visit of Union Ministers and Assam Finance Minister, Deb also criticized Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for failing to meet the people’s aspirations. “People want to know what the Chief Minister has done for their welfare. Therefore, BJP demands the Chief Minister should public a white-paper on this performance in his long years in Tripura”, he said.
Clearing the all doubts over the Twipraland, Deb said being a nationalist party the BJP never accept Twipraland as demanded by Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT).
